E.ON – Revamping an Iconic Brand

As part of the major brand relaunch by Peter Schmidt Group, I was tasked with creating various 3D motion assets to bring the new "Playmaker" positioning to life. The goal was to break away from old energy clichés and move towards a digital-first, future-oriented visual language.

My work focused on translating the iconic E.ON red and logo into diverse physical states and materials—ranging from organic growth to complex particle simulations. These 3D illustrations serve as a core element of the new brand identity, ensuring a coherent and modern brand experience across various digital platforms and event screens.

German Brand Award
 
It turns out the project was awarded Best of Best at the German Brand Award in the category Corporate Brand of the Year.

It's great to see that the effort put into the procedural dynamics and visual precision contributed to such a high-level recognition of the overall brand work.
